History: Previously, they used a product that allowed attendance and leave regularization for absenteeism, late arrivals, and early departures with just a click of a button. Problem Statement: This convenience led employees to exploit the system, failing to regularize their attendance or apply for leave in advance. Leave & Attendance Automation

Challenges:

Employees were familiar with the HR system but rarely applied for leave according to policy or managed their attendance. Many believed that HR would handle these matters. Excessive leave tracking often led to disputes between employees and the HR team, creating an unhealthy environment.


Solutions:

BuildHr proposed a solution that empowered employees to manage their own attendance and leave. The automation involved automatically deducting permissions and leaves based on their attendance and leave policies, with a threshold limit for regularization. Employees were informed of these changes, and after a certain point of non-management, absences would be marked as Loss of Pay (LOP). Initially, a few employees managed their attendance; following the implementation of automation, the remaining employees began to take responsibility for their own attendance management.
